Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Whatley said during an appearance on his show that there has been a “seismic change” in former President and now President-elect Donald Trump. Breitbart News Dailydiscussing the move toward Trump.
Host Mike Slater asked Whatley what surprised him most, citing Vice President Kamala Harris' poor performance as an example.
“For example, CNN said that, at least on election night, Mr. Kamala did not move a single county of America's 4,600 counties to the left by more than 3 points. I don't think it moved. So that's a devastating blow for her. What's the big win for the Republican Party?” Slater asked, as Whatley pointed to the demographic shift. Ta.
“I think it's the fact that we've seen a dramatic shift in black support for President Trump, Hispanic support for President Trump, and Asian American support for President Trump,” the RNC chairman began.
“It really shows that his efforts to expand into places like Philadelphia, Detroit, Atlanta, the Bronx and to reach platforms outside of traditional mainstream media have really paid off,” Whatley continued.
“You know, I think the fact that he talked to every single American voter really shows why,” he said, adding that Trump won the popular vote, another decisive He also pointed out a fact that is an indicator.
“And I think the fact that we won the popular vote was probably the biggest accomplishment of the night. It's not only that Donald J. Trump won all seven battleground states, but he led the popular vote. The fact is that we did,” he added.
