Wealthy Businessman Les Wexner Aims to Explain His Connection to Epstein in Congressional Hearing

Billionaire Les Wexner attempted to address his connection with Jeffrey Epstein during his testimony before Congress, as reported. Wexner, the founder and CEO of L Brands, which owns Victoria’s Secret, was among Epstein’s notable associates. Recently, the Ohio House Oversight Committee dismissed him.

He is often credited with significantly contributing to Epstein’s financial success. During his testimony, Wexner indicated he felt deceived by Epstein, labeling him an “Olympic-level fraudster,” according to someone privy to the proceedings.

Wexner asserted that Epstein never facilitated introductions to women for sexual purposes. Officials noted that Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s convicted associate, also claimed he hadn’t introduced anyone, regardless of gender, in such a context.

The L Brands founder insisted that Maxwell had no involvement in his business dealings and stated that he had never witnessed inappropriate conduct from Epstein toward women in his presence.

He claimed he didn’t view Epstein as a personal friend and that their relationship was strictly professional, focused on business, with no personal favors exchanged. He stated he had never had a sexual relationship with Epstein, as conveyed to Democratic Watchdog Minority Leader Robert Garcia.

Wexner also testified that he had no knowledge of Epstein’s connections to the intelligence community. He mentioned that he had only visited Epstein’s Palm Beach residence once and didn’t recall encountering prominent figures, including Donald Trump. Furthermore, sources indicated they were unaware of Epstein arranging sexual encounters with celebrities.

The billionaire admitted visiting Epstein’s island and New Mexico ranch, but noted he did not meet any young women or girls during those visits, including Maria Farmer, one of Epstein’s alleged victims.

While acknowledging he met Trump at a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Wexner maintained that there was no interaction linking Epstein to Trump.

According to officials, Trump never met anyone introduced to him by Epstein or Maxwell. Wexner reiterated he hadn’t talked to Trump about Epstein and did not remember any discussions from Epstein mentioning Trump. He also expressed doubt that they were friends.

The Daily Caller sought confirmation from Wexner’s attorney regarding these details. A complaint was reportedly submitted to the Oversight Committee before the testimony, but no response was provided before publication.
