Week 12 kicker rankings: 3 to stream, 3 to fade

Week 11 was not my friend. It was the worst streaming week since week 2. The only guy I was somewhat right about was Will Lutz, who finished with 9 fantasy points. I don't want to think about bad performance, so I'll stop.

There are several teams with byes this week, but they're probably here because they had Yong-Ho Ku, Tyler Bass, or Evan McPherson on their roster. Goodbye, I'm here for your end of life worries. This week's theme is Division Matchup, and we start by returning to the only well with water from last week.

Will Lutz – denver broncos (9% registered on the list)

Rookie Bo Nix has been a pleasant surprise for Broncos fans this season (Source: Broncos Fan Me). Denver's offense looked deadly to opponents. atlanta falcons on sunday. In Week 12, they travel to Las Vegas to play their in-district rival. The Raiders have been a great opponent for fantasy kickers through 11 weeks. They have allowed double-digit performance in all but two weeks.

Will Lutz's field goal attempts have been down in recent weeks as the offense has started to falter, but the Broncos are making nearly twice as many field goal attempts in away games. They're in there and they're popular in Las Vegas.

commander of washington Kicker – (Gonzalez 0% enrollment; Seibert 32% enrollment)

I've been checking all day long for some sort of update on Austin Seibert's availability this week, so naturally I'll be receiving that update as soon as it becomes available. Either way, Who (Who? I don't know) Kicks in Command on Sunday is a good streaming option.

I'm a strong believer that the offense, scheme, game script, and coach have more to do with fantasy outcomes than who the kicker is. In this case, Washington is still averaging 2.9 field goal attempts per game. Dallas has allowed double-digit fantasy performances in four of the last five games.

Although the coaches have lost the last two games, they are hoping that the offense will put up a strong fight to get back on the winning list.

Joey Sly – new england patriots (1% registered on the list)

Adam Devine said it best: “Let's be weird!” During the offseason, I joked with my home league buddies that the answer at kicker was who won the kicking job for the Patriots. But I want to beat them and I want to help everyone win. So this week I say in good faith that deep kicker Joey Sly is a very good roster option.

Like the Cowboys dolphin They have allowed double-digit fantasy games to their kickers in four of the past five games. New England has attempted multiple field goals in the last three games. They are playing outdoors, are not favorites and have a low implied point total. It's a gamble, but it's not like you have to call a hotline, and I think it pays off.

fade

Justin Tucker – baltimore ravens

Justin Tucker took a step back this season. We saw signs of this late last year, and now we can't ignore it. It's a difficult reality to face. But this week I'm not going to undermine him because of his accuracy issues. We're fading him out this week. charger He has yet to allow an opposing kicker a double-digit game.

McPherson came close in Week 11, but there was no cigar.

Brandon Aubrey – dallas cowboys

Fantasy football players have already started dubbing Brandon Aubrey as the next Justin Tucker. I think we'll be able to have that conversation within the next few years. Now we have to worry about week 12. In the two games Cooper Rush started for the Cowboys, Aubrey had seven and six fantasy points. Not what you want to see from a player who started the season by finishing in the top 12 in kicking weeks in a row.

Washington is allowing the third-fewest points at the position. I know breaking up with him will hurt. Your friends might laugh at you, or you might sprint to the waiver wire to bid on him. Let's make it a headache for others.

Dustin Hopkins – cleveland browns

Dustin Hopkins had a tough game in Week 11. I couldn't hit long shots or chip shots. However, just like with Justin Tucker, accuracy issues aren't letting him down. of steelers They have allowed the fourth-fewest points to kickers. That's a sneaky defense in the face of an incredibly up-and-down offense.

Goodbye and welcome to Mageddon. May the results continue to be favorable to us.
