Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrated! For everyone else, enjoy the last week of November. Whether we celebrate Thanksgiving or not, we all have a busy week of football. It begins with a Thanksgiving tripleheader, continues with Black Friday games on Amazon Prime Video, and concludes with the remaining Sunday/Monday football games.
Week 12 saw some great results, highlighted by the Cowboys and Titans rushing to defeat the Commanders and Titans. texansrespectively. We were almost shocked when the Panthers took the Chiefs to the final stretch of the game. Even though the Chiefs were eliminated, the Cowboys and Titans' wins likely shook up the rest of the Survivor League.
I gave everyone good advice to avoid it. steelersbut last week's Survivor pick wasn't very good. I listed Commander and Director as safe choices. i gave you dolphin as a value pick over the Patriots. I went to the Chiefs in the last league standing and barely held on.
We are now in week 13, the holiday week. There are no byes, so there are 16 games to choose from this week. Below are my complete selections. There are a lot of options to consider, and each week this season we'll be breaking down the safest picks, the most valuable picks, and the potential trap picks. Starting this week, we will be adding a category called Upset Picks. There are still favorites to choose from, but now that things are winding down, if you want to go against the norm and get a little wild with your picks, call upset picks to consider in your Survivor pool.

Division games can be difficult, but we're at a point in the season where we need to take the plunge. The Chiefs and Lions are both double-digit favorites to win at home, and this could be the perfect week to use either of them if they're still available.

Due to the rest of your schedule, this will probably be the last week you'll use Commander, so if you haven't already, use it. The Broncos have consistently done a solid job against bad teams, and this could be their last best effort if they don't want to use them against the Colts after their bye week.

The Vikings keep winning, but it hasn't been easy. And now they've got a Cardinals team that I don't think anyone can really classify as high. Some weeks they look like the strongest men in the world, and other weeks they look like they can't poke a hole out of a wet paper bag. I think they give the Vikings a hard time this week, so if you really want to find an upset, this might be it.

The first two go back to a strategy of avoiding road division games whenever possible. The latter is due to snow. I think the 49ers will probably get crushed in this game. I'm a fed up 49ers fan right now, so if you think this is a safe play, go to town. But with significant snow in the forecast, it might be wise to stay away from this game, especially since the Bills have some strong matchups remaining.
