Week 9’s best 100 standard fantasy football wide receivers

Midway Through the 2025 NFL Season

As we approach the midpoint of the 2025 NFL season, it’s a bit odd to consider that the total number of regular season games is uneven. I mean, come on. But anyway, whether your league’s playoffs are coming up soon or not, we’re officially at or past the halfway mark for fantasy football. So it’s probably time to jump into action. This week, four teams are on bye, which might actually work out in favor of some players like Emeka Egbuka, AJ Brown, and Garrett Wilson—who could use a little extra time to heal.

Teams on Bye

Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets

Injury Updates

Jerry Jeudy, Emeka Egbuka, Tez Johnson, AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, Garrett Wilson

Rondon missed Week 8 due to a hip injury, but he seems to be improving. It’s looking like he might have a shot to suit up against the Patriots, provided he gets in some practice time this week.

Nacua dealt with multiple injuries but managed to perform as a fantasy WR1 until a Week 6 ankle sprain sidelined him for Weeks 7 and 8. The good news is he appears to be recovering and should be ready to return to the lineup soon.

Wilson was listed as questionable after hyperextending his knee in Week 6, which kept him out for Weeks 7 and 8. The prognosis is that he might be set for a return in Week 10 after a bye.

Pearsall injured his knee during a match against the Jaguars in Week 4, initially thinking the downtime would be minimal. Unfortunately, he has now missed four games. It will be interesting to see if he can hit the practice field soon.

Ridley encountered a hamstring issue in Week 6, causing him to miss the following two games. His situation seems uncertain right now as he hasn’t practiced yet.

Collins had a concussion in Week 8, which prevented his participation in the Week 9 win over the 49ers. Let’s hope he gets cleared soon, especially with the Texans facing a tough contest against the Broncos.

Brown has a hamstring problem that sidelined him in Week 9. Reports are optimistic, though, suggesting he could return after a bye week, particularly for the matchup against the Packers.
