Weekly Action Needed: Popular Gamer Asmongold Commends Trump for Maduro's Capture

Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt, a well-known gaming streamer, reacted on Saturday to President Trump’s announcement about the U.S. military capturing Nicolas Maduro, the socialist leader of Venezuela. He encouraged the president to “maintain the same energy” and even hinted at potential intervention regarding issues in Minnesota, albeit without major controversy. “You need to do this once a week,” he commented.

“Don’t let anyone tell you, ‘You can’t do that,’ just because people are saying it’s against international law or that Congress needs to be involved. Trump essentially disregarded that and just went ahead. That’s it, it’s done,” Asmongold stated.

“It’s reminiscent of what occurred in Iran,” he said, noting his significant follower count of 4.27 million on YouTube and 3.6 million on Twitch. “Remember what happened after Iran?”

He argued, “If you have power and can act with force, no one can really oppose you.”

“You can essentially do whatever you wish; there’s little that can stop you. So always be aware that there are options available,” he remarked.

Asmongold, addressing a viewer during his stream, said, “Yes, maintain that same energy. Absolutely.”

“So why not address issues in Minnesota? If we can take action in Venezuela—I’m not suggesting bombings or anything like that—there surely must be different solutions to the problems there,” he commented.

In a playful tone, he added, “If Trump keeps this up, I might just vote for him a third time.”

“This is what we need to do—this should happen weekly,” he insisted. “Each week, let’s determine who needs to be dealt with.”

Recently, Asmongold expressed strong opinions regarding reports of Somali scammers in Minnesota, advocating for the denaturalization and deportation of those involved as well as their families.

“The consequences should be significantly harsher than the initial crime,” he noted at the time, emphasizing the need to deport entire families and return them to Somalia.

On a global scale, many Venezuelans rejoiced upon hearing President Trump’s news about the Maduro’s supposed capture and deportation.

Meanwhile, criticisms emerged against leftist leaders who seem disconnected from real issues facing Venezuelans, as they publicly lament the situation.
