Speaking on FNC’s “Sunday Morning Futures” this week, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), the Republican vice presidential nominee, said that people who try to label him as a “weird” are just projecting themselves based on their own “weird” views.
“What do you think about this new strategy from Democrats to call you a weirdo?” Bartiromo asked.
“Maria, frankly, I think this is a projection from people who want to give 9-year-olds transgender hormones and allow biological males to play girls’ sports,” Vance responded. “Look, I’m a husband, a father, I’m happily married, I love my life, and I’m doing this because I want to be a good public servant who solves the problems of the Democratic Party. I don’t care what they call me. I don’t care about some middle school teasing. What bothers me and pisses me off is what Kamala Harris has done for this country over the last three and a half years. She opened up the southern border of the United States. She cast a decisive vote on the things that have created a crisis of skyrocketing inflation and high prices.”
“I was in Georgia yesterday,” he continued. “Georgia has skyrocketing home prices and a housing shortage because Kamala Harris has skyrocketed interest rates and let in millions more illegal immigrants to compete with the American people for housing we don’t have. So I don’t care what they call me, I just want them to stop messing up the country. I don’t think they can do it themselves, so President Trump and I are going to defeat them in November.”
