New Mexico (KRQE) – Wells Fargo has announced it will close three bank branches in the state. First, the Corrales branch closed on August 16, and a statement announced that both the Bosque Farms and Santa Teresa branches would close on October 4.
The company said those affected at Bosque Farm can go to the Los Lunas branch at 1027 Main Street. Those affected by the Santa Teresa closure can visit the Anthony branch at 800 Highway 478 in Anthony, New Mexico.
The company sent the following statement to the closure:
Branches continue to play an important role in how we serve our customers, and customers continue to appreciate their branch experience. In addition, customers are using our extensive digital capabilities for many of their banking needs, resulting in an increase in out-of-branch transactions. As customer preferences and trading patterns change, so does our branch and the experience our customers have there. There are now 57 branches in New Mexico and his 23 in Albuquerque.
