‘We’re Coming For You’: Fox Guest Rips Left-Leaning Outlet For Attempting To ‘Scare’ Support From Trump

Breitbart News’ economics and finance editor John Carney slammed Time magazine’s article about former President Donald Trump during an appearance on Fox Business on Wednesday, saying the magazine was trying to “intimidate” Trump’s supporters.

Carney appeared on “The Bottom Line” to discuss the recent article. Time Magazine The article claims that Trump “targeted” corporate leaders and “pushed forward with populist policies” during his administration. Fox Business’ co-hosts asked Carney for his thoughts on the article, noting that Trump’s policies “have been great for American businesses in American homes.” (Related: CNN guest lists reasons Democrats are losing the working class)

“This is definitely an attempt to scare people away from supporting Donald Trump,” Carney said. “I would say there’s a grain of truth in this: The days of the Republican Party serving big business are over. This is a Republican Party that’s for workers. If you’re a corporate leader who loves the environment and the Green New Deal and wants to move jobs to China and bring in cheap foreign labor, you should fear Donald Trump. So there’s a grain of truth. We’re in an era of economic nationalism, but it’s not anti-corporate, it’s fundamentally pro-corporate.”

“What we’re looking at is a country that can promote both the working class and the business class,” he added. “What we can’t promote is this globalist conspiracy that has ruined the American economy.” [and] “To those who are still getting it, please send a fax to Joe Biden. None of these people voted for Donald Trump and they won’t be voting for him this time. I say it clearly on camera: We are coming after you. You should be afraid. Read this article in Time Magazine. It’s not wrong. We are coming after you. It’s not right that we are anti-business, we are pro-business.”

As the 2024 election approaches, big companies are reportedly taking a step back from getting involved in a rematch between President Trump and President Joe Biden, according to The Wall Street Journal. Some corporate executives have expressed election fatigue to the WSJ, with Francine Katsudas, executive vice president and chief people, policy and purpose officer at Cisco Systems, telling the paper that political discussion “should not be encouraged” because politics leading up to an election can be emotional.
