On News Nation's “Cuomo” aired Tuesday, Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA) discussed the state's Medicaid shortage, saying California was “great.” But “the stock market recession will hurt California over the next decade.” And as the state has to provide Medicaid to illegal immigrants, “make sure we all get infected.”
“California is fine. We are heavily dependent on taxing wealthy people with capital gains. The stock market recession will hurt California over the next 10 years. We can't treat families just by treating them. Documented immigration for no reason will work well for California. [are] health. “
He continued, “It's absolutely wrong to say that all undocumented immigrants are getting Medicaid or medical, as all undocumented immigrants call it in California. The eligibility rule is, if you're here illegally here, you're not receiving any special treatment.
