‘We’re going to need your help’

Gov. Gavin Newsom showed up uninvited to greet President Trump as he left the Air Force in Los Angeles on Friday. It was set on tour and tried to beg for money after a devastating firefighter.

“I appreciate the governor coming out and meeting with me,” Trump told reporters on the tarmac. “We want to fix it.”

“You were hit by a bomb,” Trump said – likening the wildfire scene to the devastation of World War II.

“Most importantly, thank you for being here,” Newsom told Trump. “I'm going to need your support. I'm going to need your help.”
