It continued:

Therefore, I, Joseph R. Biden Jr. of the United States, declared here on March 31, 2024, as transgender day of sight, thanks to the powers granted to me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States. I am calling on all Americans to join us in lifting the lives and voices of trans people across our nation and working to eliminate violence and discrimination based on gender identity.
