During Dallas' 20-17 win over the Steelers on Sunday, there was an apparent conversation between Cowboys wideout CeeDee Lamb and quarterback Dak Prescott.
Lamb had some choice words for Prescott on the sideline after Prescott threw an interception aimed at Lamb in the third quarter as Dallas lost 10-6 at Acresure Stadium in Pittsburgh.
What did Lamb say to Prescott?
Lamb appeared to call Prescott a “substandard throw,” but Prescott, who was sitting on the bench looking at his iPad, did not respond.
NBC cameras captured the exchange in slow motion, but it wasn't clear exactly what Lamb said.
Cris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico, who were called up for the Sunday Night Football matchup, gave a dark impression of the exchange.
“It's hard to explain. Just by participating in the interview, something is wrong,” Collinworth said. “CeeDee Lamb Let me read your own lips at the end of that, Dak.
“Duck isn't reacting at all. It doesn't look good.”
Tirico added: “Not in the slightest.”
After Steelers cornerback Donte Jackson intercepted a pass to Lamb, the Cowboys rallied to win and move to 3-2 on the season.
Prescott passed for 352 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions, and one fumble.
He completed 5 of 7 passes for 46 yards on the final drive, ending with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Jalen Tolbert with 20 seconds left.
Lamb and Prescott both signed big contract extensions this offseason, committing them to Dallas for the next four years.
The Cowboys will face the Lions (3-1) on October 13th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
