In 2022, “He wins us” – a non-denominational campaign aimed at changing public discourse against Jesus and Christianity. Since his debut, he has seen several TV commercials, billboards and online ads, but it hasn't been as popular as the campaign's Super Bowl ads.
This year's commercial featured several scenes of “What is great?” various people were characterized by helping and kindness to their neighbors. These scenes include a barber giving a beard trim to a homeless man, a man who power washes the word “back” from his home, which implies he belongs to illegal immigrants, and a man in John 3:16, LGBTQ+ An event hugging another man with pride, and a man in a wheelchair lifted up by the crowd surrounding him.
Here's the message: “Jesus showed us what greatness really is.”
It is true that Jesus is the ultimate example of greatness, but ads say there is a lot wrong about our Savior. Ally Beth Stucky.
But she is not surprised. Lerma/ is a “Far-area, Pro-LGBTQ Advertising Agency” that created the advertisements. The Lerma website outlines the company's intention to promote “LGBTQIA+ awareness in marketing.” The website also states, “He has us tell the story of Jesus through a modern lens, showing us how he fought for radical love and inclusion.”
Allie says that the commercials don't actually tell the story of Jesus, at least in terms of Jesus' life, death and resurrection.
It also gets the idea that respectful love and inclusion is wrong. Jesus certainly loved people fundamentally and wanted everything to be included in God's plan of salvation as evidenced by John 3:16, but he was not “inclusive” by modern standards. . .
Ally points to Matthew 7:13-14 as evidence. Wide is the gate, wide is the road leading to destruction, and many people pass through it. But the little one is the gate, narrowing the path to life, and only a few have found it. ”
She added: “All those whom he contacted, 'Go, and I will not sin anymore',” she added.
It may seem strange for a Christian campaign to choose an advertising agency with these views, but it makes sense when he sees what represents us.
Ally said on the campaign website, “No matter who you are, you are invited to explore the story of Jesus and think about what it means to your life.”
“Well, that's not the gospel,” she says.
It also argues that Jesus “showed that the greatest thing we can do is humble service to others.” It says, “It's not entirely true.” .
Overall, the ad asserts the secular message that Jesus is this very “moral hippie teacher.”
