New York Magazine recently released a story called “The Crual Kids 'Table.” This article was primarily about the younger right-wingers and their cultural impacts as they headed for Trump's second term in 2025.
However, the content of the story is not something I'm interested in. Or at least not now. That's Cover the photo It comes with the story.
In 2005, it was not difficult to choose young-educated conservatives from young-educated liberals based on clothing and grooming. It's not that difficult in 2025 either.
A group of young, attractive, well-dressed men and women. smile. LOL. Drinking. I'm talking. A harsh light exaggerating every detail. It feels like a paparazzi photo. It was an exciting shot and there was no shortage of commentary on it.
Online leftists claim that the photos are ugly. The bright flashes of light, blown faces, high contrast and excited laughter are flattering and make the individual look majestic. If conservatives don't notice this, it's because they don't understand aesthetics.
Meanwhile, see conservatives enjoying the bunch of young people worn.
Anti-aesthetics
For the left, the best kind of aesthetics are what makes people look vulnerable or fatally rebellious. And if an individual is too attractive and confident, and not vulnerable or fatal rebellious, Wonky must.
A strange leaning forward posture. A slightly depressed look. The rough, brutal scenes will be fine. Or cute people can work too. Something strange and eccentric that feels harsh and disorienting. If sympathy is impossible, hidden irony is the next best. These are the aesthetic values of the left today.
Without the ironic subtext, confident happiness is not something in their aesthetic dictionary.
Finish online
The claim that this photo makes the subject look is that you think that these types of people, the young attractive men and women wearing dresses and jackets, are bad people, are the assumptions you have. That's what I mean.
Of course, the terminally ill online leftists think this demographic is a bad guy. But that doesn't mean you do it. And you probably aren't. Because you are not a terminally ill online bitter leftist.
Still, they may argue for everything that is put aside, but the photos are still intended to make subjects appear unattractive by objective measures, and conservatives jokingly I'm not saying that it has them.
They don't realize that no one cares about their stupid game anymore. We don't. Grainy photos, smooth photos, flash photos blown away, unexposed photos, overexposed photos, digital cameras, Instagram, Polaroid, Photoshop. Who cares? The people in the photo live without rent in the hysterical left-wing minds. Who is winning?
A new spirit?
Some argue that photography is an example of a new and correct mind. Dressed, young, confident, attractive, etc. The argument is that these are markers of a new era. I like all of this. They are very good. But they are not new to the right.
I know that much of society is left to the world of pajamas and pants. And the problem with street sea urchins wearing permanent flip-flops is a social illness that affects both the left and right wings.
But there were always young, well dressed, confident and many attractive right-wingers. This cohort has been a conservative breeding ground for generations. 1985, 1995, 2005, 2015, and 2025. It's not new.
Dressing in the traditional sense of the word was a cultural value among generations of young and successful right-wingers. In 2005, it was not difficult to choose young-educated conservatives from young-educated liberals based on clothing and grooming. It's not that difficult in 2025 either.
It is true that there has been a lot of neglect in our cultural transformation from a personal aesthetic perspective. Some people on the right tried to distance themselves from their attire or downgrade.
Ends the Slop World
But the truth is that dressing well never disappears.
Maybe you were sleeping on the wheels and didn't want to be like “flat guy,” “school girl,” “babe,” or “bimboo.” Maybe you decide to cut your nose to stare at your face and forget that aesthetics are important. it's okay. We all make mistakes. But that doesn't mean everyone else was with you.
An angry leftist will always hate the younger right. Their screeching can be ignored. Anyone who is currently discovering the importance of personal aesthetics is welcome. It is a great sign and I sincerely hope that we will leave the world of slops and return to positive aesthetic values.
The young, attractive, well-dressed right-winger on the cover of a New York magazine is not a new phenomenon. The photos are important truth corrections. Clothing issues and beauty are important. Happiness and success are winners. It was true yesterday, today is true, tomorrow is true.
