“Wheel of Fortune's” Vanna White gave an astonishing revelation on what her workplace schedule looks like during a long-term game show.
White, 68, who co-hosted “Wheel of Fortune,” appeared on “The Morning Show with Elvis Duran” on Wednesday, set a record shortly after radio broadcast co-host Nate Marino.
“We shoot about 34 days a year,” White said. “that's it.”
“but [we film] Six shows. Come. She added as the host expressed surprise.
“I don't feel a bit sorry for you,” Duran said. “That sounds like a great job.”
“It's six different dresses a day,” cried Daniel Monaro's co-host.
“Yes,” White said with a smile.
Earlier in the show, White said he wore over 8,000 dresses around the time of “Wheel of Fortune” and a different gown for each episode. For decades, television personalities have never repeated their dresses up to one instance in 2020 due to production mistakes.
The White and the production crew reportedly established additional cautions to ensure that it never happens again.
Meanwhile, Marino continued to address White's surprise filming schedule.
“It's so weird. Do you take 331 days off a year?” he asked her.
“He's doing math,” Duran pointed out.
“Yes, I think so,” the host said with a laugh.
“And no one deserves it more than you,” Duran said. “You're just the best.”
The author of “Vanna Speaks” made his debut in 1982 with “Wheel of Fortune.”
White co-hosted a game show with Pat Sajak until his retirement last year.
The final episode of Sajak aired on June 7th, almost a year after being announced on June 12th, 2023, and left “Wheel of Fortune.” The legendary host returned to “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” on October 7th for his final farewell.
In June 2023, “Wheel of Fortune” announced that longtime “American Idol” host Ryan Shucrest will replace Sajac after his retirement.
Fans shared their reaction to the commentary's revelation after a clip from the white look was posted to the “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show” Instagram account.
“34 days of work in a year and your net worth is over 80 million!!! Youuuu Win!!,” wrote one social media user.
Another addition, “Even if there's an American icon!”
“This is why she looks 40. She barely worked in her life.
When White appeared on “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show,” Duran said there must have been “a little adjustment” after Sajac's departure.
“And not just me,” White agreed. “For everyone who's been watching for 41 years [that] Pat and I are doing a show. And Pat decided to retire, and he is very happy. I met him a few weeks ago. He looks great.
“And Ryan takes over and he does a great job. And he said, “Look, no one can replace Pat Sajak. I'm just here to fill out here.”
“I think you should be in charge now, like Vanna White,” Monaro told White. “Like, Ryan Seacrest.”
“I think he'll probably listen to me, but I have nothing to say,” White said with a smile. “He's doing a great job.”
