Legendary “Wheel of Fortune” host Vanna White knows the wheel will keep spinning without her, but she believes there's a reason the acclaimed game show still needs her.
White recently reminisced fondly and described the environment as “very energetic” as the game show enters a new era with Ryan Seacrest at the helm.
“And my role on the puzzle board has changed,” she said. parade“When we first started, we had to physically turn all the letters. Then they switched to TV monitors so you could just touch the letters and they would light up.”

White added, “The board is now laser-operated. It's like a flat screen. When I try to touch the letters, the laser captures my movements. Isn't that amazing?”
