Nia DaCosta will take the director’s chair for this sequel, stepping in for Danny Boyle. Alex Garland has also contributed to the script. Meanwhile, a fellow survivor, Dr. Ian Kelson, played by Ralph Fiennes, stumbles upon a discovery that could worsen the already dire zombie apocalypse scenario.

When will 28 Years Later: Kozoku Temple be streaming on Netflix?

Initially, 28 Years Later: Kozoku Temple will be released in theaters but will eventually be available for streaming on Netflix. Thanks to a deal with Sony Pictures, Netflix secures the streaming rights after the movie has been released on home media. This suggests that you’ll likely be able to watch 28 Years Later: Kozoku Temple on Netflix about three months after its theatrical debut, probably around mid-April 2026.
