Nia DaCosta will take the director’s chair for this sequel, stepping in for Danny Boyle. Alex Garland has also contributed to the script. The story will follow Jamie’s son, Spike (Alfie Williams), as he joins a cult of survivors led by a character named Jimmy Crystal (Jack O’Connell). Meanwhile, a fellow survivor, Dr. Ian Kelson, played by Ralph Fiennes, stumbles upon a discovery that could worsen the already dire zombie apocalypse scenario.
When will 28 Years Later: Kozoku Temple be streaming on Netflix?
Initially, 28 Years Later: Kozoku Temple will be released in theaters but will eventually be available for streaming on Netflix. Thanks to a deal with Sony Pictures, Netflix secures the streaming rights after the movie has been released on home media. This suggests that you’ll likely be able to watch 28 Years Later: Kozoku Temple on Netflix about three months after its theatrical debut, probably around mid-April 2026.
