America’s border crisis has been cited as one of the top issues for voters in the 2024 election. People of all political ideologies largely agree that illegal immigration is a problem and must be addressed, but Biden doesn’t seem willing to change course. And with Election Day still several months away, he has plenty of time to continue attracting more illegal immigrants into the country.
“Biden” did it We should close the border, right?” Dave Rubin asks Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio).
“Yeah…but he probably won’t intentionally stop what he started,” Jordan says. “They did this on purpose, on purpose, on purpose, on purpose.” They wanted Mexico to have no walls, no burdens, [and] Once you’re here, you won’t be restricted. ”
“We could stop it by rolling back these policies, but they don’t want to do that.”
“When you talk to your colleagues on the other side, do they believe it’s intentional?” What do they think Biden’s intentions are? Is this just a matter of switching voters? ” asks Dave.
“That’s the question: Why would they do it? I have to believe it’s political. Sometimes you say, ‘President Trump did A, B, and C, so we can do D, E. Sometimes I think, “I’m going to do F.” We’re not going to do what he did, we’re going to do the opposite,” Jordan speculates.
The bottom line is that there are only two options. [Biden] We’re not going to fix it, so we can wait for an election…or we can use the power of the Constitution that the Framers gave us: the power of the wallet. ”
When the spending bill is due next month, they can say “we can’t use the money to process new immigrants or release them into the country,” and instead focus on “evaluating the 8 million people who have come so far.” Dew. Mr Jordan said they would be “subjected to an adjudication process to see if they are indeed legitimate asylum seekers”, adding that this course of action was part of the Senate’s bid to “keep accepting refugees”. He acknowledged that it was the opposite of the border bill. There’s a flow. ”
“In three years and 17 days of the Biden administration, we went from having a secure border to having no border.”
