“The family bond of the Cliburn family is central, uniting everyone as key players in that dynamic,” series director Christina Alexandra Volos shared in a discussion with the Hollywood Reporter. “At the end of season one, there are many questions that season two will address.”
While there’s no set premiere date for season 2 just yet, given that filming is complete, it’s expected to return with new episodes by late 2026 or early 2027.

There was some speculation that madison would only run for two seasons, but the Hollywood Reporter has indicated that “Sheridan has multiple seasons planned,” according to both stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Voros.
Voros remarked in an interview with THR, “When you work on a show like this with such a great cast, you want it to last a long time. After the second season, I think viewers will connect with the characters even more. It’s interesting because it will resonate with those who have followed the Yellowstone universe, but also attract audiences who might not typically be into the more action-driven themes of Taylor’s major shows like yellowstone or lioness.”
There hasn’t been any concrete news regarding a third season, but it wouldn’t be a shock if the series continued beyond the second.
