Where to buy tickets to see Celtics-Mavericks, best prices

From 2017-2019, Dallas Mavericks star (and perennially controversial NBA mainstay) Kyrie Irving was a major force on a highly competitive Boston Celtics team.

Similarly, Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis provided significant value to the Dallas Mavericks, who made the playoffs from 2019-2022.

Now, in a twist of fate, these two stars and career journeymen will meet in the 2024 NBA Finals.

The series, which begins on Thursday, June 6 at TD Garden in Boston, will feature the top-seeded Boston Celtics, led by Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, against the underdog Dallas Mavericks, led by Luka Doncic and Irving, who beat the Clippers, Thunder and Timberwolves to reach the Big Dance.

Meanwhile, Boston easily beat the Heat, Cavaliers and Pacers en route to the postseason, losing just two games.

Who will be victorious?

Could it be the Celtics, the overwhelming favorites looking to win the Larry O’Brien Trophy for the first time since the 2008 “Big Three” teams?

Or will Dallas win a ring for the first time since 2011 in the era of Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd, Shawn Marion, Tyson Chandler and Jason Terry?

What we do know is that the best way to see it is live, and last-minute tickets are still available.

At the time of publication, the lowest price for tickets to a home game at TD Garden in Boston was $600, before the Vivid Seats fee.

If you plan to attend at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, rates start at $747, excluding fees.

That may sound like a lot, but it’s hard to put a price on witnessing basketball history in person.
