Florence and the Machine’s New Song
On October 31st, the band unveiled their sixth studio album, “Everybody Scream.”
The title track opens with eerie vocals and instrumentation, building up to an explosion of powerful guitar riffs and raw emotion. The lyrics are intense, hinting at themes of struggle and resilience.
Following that, “One of the Greats” serves as a satirical take on the music industry, with poignant lines directed at male musicians.
Then they dive into “Witch Dance,” a high-energy piece that contrasts with the dynamic instrumental breaks.
The softer track “Sympathy Magic” captures a sense of urgency and showcases Welch’s extraordinary vocal range.
No filler here, but keep an ear out for tracks like “Perfume and Milk” and “Kraken,” which deliver their own unique charm.
You can experience “Everybody Scream” for yourself, available now.
