The trailer for Homestead was released in early January, and it looks like the most incredible apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic movie of 2024.
From the studio that created “The Sound of Freedom” and “After Death,” Angel Studios brings us “The Sound of Freedom” and “After Death.”homestead” The story is based on the best-selling literary and television series “Black Autumn” by Jeff Kirkham and Jason Ross, and follows two families as they navigate the collapse of the American Empire.
One of the families is super wealthy and ready for the end. The other belongs to a military veteran hired to protect a wealthy family. “Amidst their conflict, and as the world becomes increasingly violent, there is growing evidence that God may have a plan of his own,” the description reads.

Homestead is set to be released in 2024 and will feature many of your favorite faces. Neal McDonough has starred alongside the likes of Bailey Chase (Longmire) and Dawn Olivieri (1883, Yellowstone), most of whom have gone on to achieve great success in the mainstream film and television industry. .
Over the past year, Angel Studios seems to have normalized the transition of top actors from mainstream entertainment to faith-inspired work. It's beyond touching and gives us all hope at a time when it feels like the world is coming to an end.
