By now, most of the nation knows that Joe Biden is in the midst of severe cognitive decline, and despite being scripted and removed from the stage at nearly every speech, his list of gaffes grows longer by the day.
Additionally, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is acting on his behalf.
Glenn Beck Playing footage of a recent press conference, the KJP claimed that the video capturing Biden’s gaffe was “edited,” a “cheap fake,” and a “deep fake.”
“There appears to be a proliferation of videos edited to make the president appear especially emaciated or mentally disturbed,” one reporter said. “I suspect the White House is especially concerned that this appears to be a pattern.”
Before moving on to KJP’s answer, it would be criminal to ignore the very framing of the question.
“The question is shaped [to say] “The president is fine, there’s nothing wrong with the president,” Glenn noted.
“I know you’re calling this a cheap fake video, and that’s exactly what it is: a cheap fake video, and it was made with bad intentions. Some news organizations have made it clear that right-wing critics of the president have credibility issues because fact-checkers have repeatedly found them to be spreading misinformation. [and] “It’s false information,” was the KJP’s response.
She went on to call Republicans “desperate” and explicitly said they were the ones who portrayed Biden’s failures as “deep fakes” and “manipulated videos.”
“Macron [Biden] “It was like, ‘Oh my goodness, here he goes,’ but then Meloni saw it and walked in front of all the world leaders and grabbed him and turned him around, so they were part of this deepfake too?” Glenn asks, referring to Biden’s recent gaffe where he had to enlist the help of the Italian prime minister at the G7 summit.
“Everyone there saw it just like everyone else in the country did.”
