Angel families feel they have gained “some degree of justice” thanks to the Trump administration.
A video featured on the White House lawn showcased several angel families, with mugshots of undocumented immigrants who had been arrested in the background.
The footage included a range of families affected by such crimes, as well as Border Patrol agents and police officers.
“I’m Maria Belavega, and I’m the mother of Javier Bega Jr., a Marine and border patrol agent,” one mother said while holding a picture of her son. “He was killed on August 3, 2014.”
“I’m Chris Odette, and I’m an angel father. My daughter Chris was murdered by an illegal immigrant in Rockwall, Texas, on September 12, 2014,” he shared, holding her image close.
Another mother held an image of her son Ryan and his girlfriend.
“I can’t bring him back, but we’re doing this to prevent others from suffering due to fentanyl,” she said. The video also included Agnes Gibony, whose son Ronald Silver was killed by gang members who had been deported before. One more mother talked about Sergeant Brandon Mendoza from the Arizona State Police, who was tragically killed by undocumented immigrants in May 2014.
“We’re truly thankful to the Trump administration,” said one angel family.
“Without their support, my daughter wouldn’t have received any justice,” Odette remarked.
“At last, we’re seeing some justice for our children in this country,” another mother expressed.

The video followed an exhibit on the White House lawn, highlighting illegal immigrants linked to various crimes. The list included Mexican citizens convicted of child sexual assault, Salvadoran citizens guilty of sexual acts with minors, and Guatemalan offenders involved in similar crimes, alongside several who had committed murder.
