White House makes nine brutal corrections to Biden NAACP Detroit speech

They went the whole nine yards on this one.

After President Biden delivered a gaffe-filled speech to the NAACP in Detroit on Sunday, White House officials went into clean-up mode, making a whopping nine corrections to the official record. .

The change comes after Biden’s outbursts, including calling the Capitol rioters “anti-protesters,” and claiming he remained vice president even during the COVID-19 pandemic. Both remaining historical narratives have been revised.

The official transcript released Monday showed Biden’s mistakes crossed out, corrected comments in brackets and no bones about the mistakes.

Vice President During a Pandemic

Biden opened by expressing his “love” for Detroit, then inadvertently hinted that he was vice president during the coronavirus pandemic.

Biden’s breakthrough in Detroit came on the heels of his commencement address at Morehouse College in Atlanta, a historically black all-boys school that awarded him an honorary degree.

$800,000 in medical insurance premium savings

When Democrats controlled Congress, Biden was able to push through expanded subsidies under the Affordable Care Act. The administration estimates it would save families up to $800 a year, but Biden messed it up and said it was $800,000.
