White House ridicules Kamala Harris' laugh after she calls the Trump administration 'crazy' at LA event

The White House took a stand on Tuesday in response to former Vice President Kamala Harris’s recent comments where she referred to members of the Trump administration as “mother” and “stupid” during a promotional event for her book.

At the “Absurd Conversation Day” summit in Los Angeles, Harris expressed, “There’s so much going on that might make people feel like they’ve lost it, and honestly, these mothers are going nuts.”

Her remarks were met with applause from the audience, suggesting they found her comments both amusing and captivating.

In a statement addressing Harris’s comments, White House Press Secretary Kush Desai remarked that perhaps Harris should reflect on her own laughter before labeling others as crazy.

Harris has been criticized for her laughter over the years, with some questioning its authenticity. During her presidential campaign, she often used her signature giggle to deflect criticism, particularly during a debate when President Trump accused her of being a Marxist.

Doug Emhoff, her husband, reminisced about the 2024 Democratic National Convention, where her laughter made a lasting impression. He recounted that a voicemail from her led to a lengthy and joyful conversation, highlighting, “You know how to laugh! I love that laugh.”

Harris is currently promoting her memoir, *107 Days*, though her candid remarks from a prior event in Los Angeles caused quite a stir.

She emphasized the need to reveal that certain narratives pushed to the American public are misleading, underscoring the importance of considering the well-being of others.

As of now, Harris’s team has not responded to requests for further comments.
