White House rips Senate Dems with their own words for ‘hypocrisy’ over looming shutdown

First on FOX: The White House has compiled Senate Democrats' highlight reels in recent years against potential government shutdowns as an attack on democracy. This week, the same Democrat cheated on her by rejecting Trump-backed federal funding laws that avoid the looming shutdown.

“This is democracy, and in democracy, hostage tactics are a last resort for those who can't win the battle in elections, they can't win the battle in Congress, they can't win the battle in presidency, and they can't beat Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.

“We want to do it while we settle the differences, not just let these people go to their jobs, to take hostages hostages. So wrong.” Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer was declared in a 2019 video, filling up federal employees.

Trump administration officials said on Fox News Digital on Thursday that Democrats' “hypocrisy” and “hate against Donald Trump” are “overwhelming” party common sense.

Dem heard his colleague scream, despite Schumer's unified claims as if the shutdown was looming.

Senate Democrats previously opposed the potential shutdown of government shutdowns in a video compiled by the White House.

“Last week, Democrats refused to support children fighting brain cancer and angel moms,” Trump administration officials told Fox News Digital. “Their hypocrisy and hatred of Donald Trump now overwhelmed the common sense and reasonable funding measures their party has historically supported. This is not a principled objection. It is a vitriol response to their light-empt and the undeniable momentum on the Republican side.”

The two-minute video included clips on previous shutdowns or government shutdown threats for Schenger, Warren, Kirstengillibrand, Jack Reed, Corey Booker, Tim Kane, Chris Murphy, Adam Schiff and Amy Klobuchar.

Trump administration officials added in comments on Fox Digital that the threat of the Democratic closure is “purely political theatre” and that they are trying to nourish them.

“Don't make a mistake. The Democratic threat to Schumer's closure is purely a political theatre,” the official said. “Senate Democrats are opposed to measures to keep the government open as President Trump works to fulfill his duties as Americans.

Senate Republicans ahead of a critical vote on Trump spending bill

The House of Representatives passed a Trump-backed federal funding bill on Tuesday. The bill will fund the federal government until the end of September.

The bill is now in the hands of the Senate, offering Senate Democrats the option to pass the bill or trigger a government shutdown on Friday.

Senate Democrats are reportedly at conflict over how to proceed, sources told Fox News Digital this week.

“They've been debating what to do, and there were people on both sides who feel strongly,” said a Democrat source familiar to Fox News Digital about some long Senate Democrat meetings over the past few days, and some long Senate Democrat meetings.

Many Senate Democrats remain motherly about the content of recent meetings, but several lawmakers have Mark Warner, D-Va. , and D-Md. Chris Van Hollen posted a video on social media showing that he plans to oppose an ongoing solution.

“This is a bad shutdown bill for the economy. Trump should close whatever he wants,” D-Va. Sen. Tim Kane said Sunday. “We spend money on hurting everyday people and spending money on a wealth of tax credits. Hell no!”

Meanwhile, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (Dn.Y.) was heard by the media screaming at a private lunch with Senate Democrats on Thursday, which lasted more than an hour.

Gillibrand was also included in the White House highlight reel. She denounced the government shutdown in 2019 to put children at risk “sleeping for hunger.”

“If this shutdown continues indefinitely, there is a risk that 39 million Americans don't have enough food. They lose the benefits of snaps in February, meaning that American children will be hungry. That's unacceptable,” she said in the video clip.
