‘White’ House scandal: Faith office needs biblical Christianity — not Paula White

President Trump's appointment of Paula White as head of the newly established White House Faith Office is the worst decision of his young presidency.

I say this as someone who voted for him three times (in separate elections) and is excited about everything he's done so far. He exceeds my expectations in every way – except for this.

In addition to her new position, Paula White is the “Pastor” of Storylife Church and host of her own television show, titled “Paula Today.” Her relationship with President Trump began more than 20 years ago when he saw one of her TV shows, contacted her and told her she had a “'it' factor.” I did. He later appeared on her show. James Dobson, who focused on the Ministry of Family, said Paula White led Trump to Christ.

But White is one of the most visible supporters of theology of faith, a gospel more commonly referred to as health and wealth or prosperity. The words of the faith movement are not merely wrong in the secondary issues of Christian theology, but represent a dramatic departure from some of the fundamental doctrines of historical Christianity. The thorough treatment of this movement's heresy goes beyond the scope of this article, but at the heart of it is the belief that if you are a Christian, you are a “little god.”

Many of this movement even believe that you, as a Christian, are “as reincarnated as Jesus of Nazareth.”

In one of her programs with fellow Word of Faith Preach, Larry Hucci, White enthusiastically agreed to Houch's statement that “Jesus is not just the Son of God.” She is a Christian, a little god, I once said“Where I go, God rules. When I walk through the White House grounds, God walks through the White House grounds. …I was standing there, so I made the White House a sacred place. He has all the rights and authority to declare.

Furthermore, White is equal to Jesus, and even God Himself teaches that Christians are entitled to health and wealth. Health and wealth are yours, that you have enough faith, and that you sow enough “seed” in the words of the preacher's ministry, and that these preachers mean money. It's something.

They tell some truth, but it's mixed with error and heresy – and a bit of a pang leaves the whole chunk.

White likes to put seeds on various biblical poems. For example, she told her followers to so soothe $91 based on the poem sal 91, thereby ensuring God's protection from a variety of enemies, including but not limited to illnesses and illnesses. she one time I said Her followers sowed the “Seed of Resurrection” for $1,144 based on John 11:44. “So click on that screen now and sow the seeds of your resurrection, as we stand together in faith, I believe in God for your miracle.”

One night, White told her church, “Some of you have to be in the place of sacrifice. When it's the most difficult, when it's a sacrifice. …You text you. If you want, you can do that, but if everyone can give something important, you will write your check to the Ministry of Paula White. “Many people make a miracle Understanding that he correctly criticizes operations like Tanta Mount for buying, she said, “Now we are not buying miracles, we are not doing 'Jesus Junk', We're not doing that. thing. We are simply obedient. ”

In short, white will say you can't buy a miracle, but if you need it, you need to give she Your money. It's a distinction that is indistinguishable. And the bigger miracle you need, the big financial “seeds” you need to “soak”. Your seeds reflect your faith. After all, you have to give her even before you pay your bill of light, because the electric company can't expect to “heal my child or find a child who is lost.” Not there. Even the healing of your sick child or the salvation of his or her soul depends on giving money to Paula White.

These are not isolated examples. This is an unbroken pattern of all prominent faith preachers.

Starting with the premise that you are always God's will, someone prays for healing, but healing never comes, and the question is, “Who is that the fault?” By definition, it is not God's fault. If you are sick, it is your fault – your lack of giving or your lack of faith.

But the exploitation of the poor and sick is not the worst case scenario for people like Paula White and her. What's worse is the condemnation they bring to the name of Christ.

2021, Pola White “Mother Moon” approved Directly in the Unification Church of the Moon in Korea, among other objective heresies, Jesus teaches that he failed in his mission.

White gave countless false prophecies, which at least means Trump will serve his second consecutive term in the White House. Even after Biden was recognized as the winner, Paula White never gave up. In the viral clip, she is strange I was called to reinforce the angel-like material. He will be installed from Africa in an oval office. These angels seem to have been blown off the course somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean. There is no word yet on the cause.

To be fair, all the prominent voices prophesied this in the words of the faith movement. White was hardly alone.

But Paula White's grand prophetic failure and her cohort of words of faith have become a rich feed for the world's ridiculous laughter. These viral YouTube videos that laugh at the failure of these “Christian” prophets have gained tens of millions of viewers.

I'm not angry that President Trump chose Paula White to lead this new office. Donald Trump is not a theologian and does not understand the theological heresy of the words of the faith movement.

But I am upset not only with Paula White and her likes, but also with the well-known Southern Baptist pastor who is fully aware of the issues of Paula White. For example, Jack Graham and Robert Jeffress have pastors of two of the nation's largest southern Baptist churches (Prestonwood Baptist and First Baptist Dallas, respectively), both of whom are enthusiastic supporters of Paula White.

Romans 14:22 states, “The blessed man is a man who does not condemn himself by what he has approved of.”

True revivals never come through the hands of false teachers and those who support them.

Our President is saddened to be surrounded by such poor expressions of Christianity, “faith advisors.” Paula White meets all biblical standards of false prophets and false teachers.

if she Although not a false teacher, the term really doesn't make any sense.

Is everything Paula White teaches wrong? no. Some of what she teaches are correct. But that applies to all false teachers.

In his account of the false teacher, the apostle Peter says, “I will secretly introduce you to the destructive heresy” (2 Peter 2:1). Secretly. They tell some truth, but it is mixed with error and heresy – and a bit of a pang leaves the whole mass (Galatians 5:9).

I hope that in just 30 minutes with President Trump, I can share the true gospel with him. Jesus did not die so that we could have health and wealth, but he could tell him that he died so that he could fulfill the wrath of God of Justice who faced our sins. I wish it would be. Our sins belong to Christ on the cross, and when we repent of our sins and place our trust in him, his righteousness belongs to us (2 Corinthians 5:21). We are saved by grace alone, by faith alone in Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Trump may not be a theologian, but he is a clever man and certainly did he realize that all the prophets who prophesied in 2020 would be wrong? It had to. He certainly knows that the “Christians” surrounding him, whom he claims to be hearing from God, are clearly not.

Jesus does not promise us health or wealth. On the contrary, he promises America's persecution and suffering in this life (John 15:20; 2 Timothy 3:12; Philippians 1:29). But in the coming life, he gives us eternity with him. Christ himself is a reward for those who trust him as his Savior and Lord.

Many well-known preachers say that God is bringing a resurrection to America through the creation of the White House Faith Office. For example, Pastor Greg Rock criticizes us who are critical of Paula White. I said He is “for the sake of resurrection and truth no matter who leads it.”

I am certainly for a resurrection, but true revival never comes through the hands of false teachers and those who support them.
