The White House’s Spanish-language account on X (formerly Twitter) commemorates Transgender Visibility Day, even though the English-language account celebrated Transgender Visibility Day on March 31, Easter Sunday. I didn’t.
On Sunday, both X accounts posted similar messages wishing Americans a happy Easter, but it was the English account that celebrated Transgender Visibility Day, according to a Fox News review of social media accounts. It is said that it was only. President Biden’s proclamation declaring Sunday as Transgender Visibility Day was widely criticized by conservatives as rude and tone-deaf.
“Transgender Americans are part of the fabric of our country,” the White House said in an English-language post on Sunday. “On Transgender Visibility Day, our government celebrates the extraordinary courage of transgender Americans and reaffirms our commitment to building a more perfect union where all people are treated equally.”
No such posts were made by La Casa Blanca, the White House Spanish-language X account.

White House Press Secretary Andrew Bates said in a statement to Fox News Digital that posts often differ between English and Spanish-language White House social media accounts.
“This is the case for most tweets from English-language accounts,” Bates said.

However, the timing of the president’s declaration of Transgender Visibility Day came under widespread condemnation among Christians. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) said the White House had “betrayed the central tenet of Easter: the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.”
