According to public records, Powerball billionaire Edwin Castro’s gorgeous girlfriend is a self-proclaimed poet and bikini model who grew up in small towns in Maine and New Hampshire.
Payten Vincent, 24, currently lives in Los Angeles and posts videos and images of herself partying at upscale nightclubs and attending record listening events for rapper Kanye West.
Castro, 31, a former auto mechanic turned record-breaking $2 billion Powerball winner, was spotted with Vincent at celebrity hotspot Nobu in Malibu earlier this week, where the pair were spotted sharing a kiss next to a vintage sports car.
Castro, from California, deleted his social media accounts after winning the jackpot in 2022, but Vincent has 125,000 followers on Instagram and has posed with rapper Flavor Flav and DJs Diplo and Cedric Gervais.
Vincent’s LinkedIn profile describes the tall beauty as a food and film critic and screenwriter based in Beverly Hills, and she appears to live in a modest low-rise apartment in North Hollywood, according to public records reviewed by The Washington Post.
Vincent described herself as an honor student and athlete in high school, and according to her LinkedIn profile, she worked as a barista at a Starbucks in Falmouth, Maine, and as a teller at Toronto-Dominion Bank.
She is featured in red bikinis and other revealing summer clothing on the New York City-based modeling website Model Scouts, where she is described as a “writer, activist, plant conservationist, artist, steelworker and skier.”
Vincent, who describes himself as a published poet, has shared some of his poems on his blog. “Peyten’s Poem” In a short poem titled “Thieves and Sins,” Vincent wonders whether he will ever adjust to life in Los Angeles, where he moved last year.
“My ego doesn’t fit in LA but I get a complaint when I say it. I guess I believe in certain instances of thievery and living with sin,” she wrote.
It’s not clear when Vincent met Castro, but one Instagram post from seven weeks ago shows a photo of the view from a high-rise in Los Angeles with the caption, “New home, new heights.” Another photo shows a silver Porsche, and a third shows Vincent dressed in white and standing next to a swimming pool.
Since hitting the jackpot, Castro has been on a lavish lifestyle, spending millions on luxury cars and mansions.
“USER!!” one commenter posted on Instagram on Thursday next to a photo of Vincent wearing a crop top and holding a can of Happy Dad hard seltzer. “You’re taking advantage of this guy just because he won the Powerball. I wouldn’t have even paid him any attention before he won.”
Vincent’s online post includes a photo of him eating caviar and sliced steak at a Newport Beach restaurant.
On her Instagram blog: foodShe posted a video of herself dining at the Italian restaurant Les Filles in Paris.
“The location was a 7 but there were tons of bees flying around. This may be unavoidable but made for a stressful experience,” she wrote.
And in a review of a meal at Nobu Virgin in Las Vegas, Vincent wrote, “The steak with mushrooms was a real chef’s choice – cooked to perfection.”
In March, a month before his 24th birthday, which he celebrated with a raucous party at Tao in Los Angeles according to an Instagram post, Vincent posted a poem titled “Restless Intellect,” which alludes to the emptiness of wealth and the search for meaning.
“The melancholy life of a restless girl\The beautiful and aimless will of the world\The searching philosopher of an exasperated nihilist\Lessons that can be learned nowhere else but in the wake of a speedboat\A reckless intellect\Finding a way while dancing through the flames\A heartfelt smile\Save us from the general discord and emptiness that surrounds us…” Vincent writes.
