No.4 Los Angeles Rams Defeat number 5 minnesota vikings Monday night concludes the Wild Card Round of the 2025 NFL Playoffs. Rams advance to divisional round to face No. 2 philadelphia eagles on sunday.
The Rams put relentless pressure on Sam Darnold and the Vikings offense all night. Rookie defensive star Jared Verse turned the game around with a 57-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the second quarter, and LA never looked back. Rams QB Matthew Stafford also had an efficient game, connecting on two touchdown throws to keep Los Angeles comfortably ahead all night.
This will be the second time this season that the Rams and Eagles will face off. In Week 12, Philadelphia rode into LA and won 37-20. sunday night football. Saquon Barkley had a tremendous performance in that game, rushing for 255 yards and two touchdowns, while also adding 47 receiving yards. His rushing total was the ninth-highest in NFL history, and his total scrimmage yards (302) was the 10th-highest in NFL history.
This will be the fourth time the two have met in the playoffs. The Rams went 2-1 in the postseason series, winning the last matchup in the 2002 NFC Championship.
