“Emilia Perez” is a transgender musical about a Mexican drug lord who transitions to women to escape a violent past, winning two Oscars at last night's Academy Awards ceremony.
The “Normal World” crew, up to Oscar, put the hype surrounding the film in view. It will be nominated over all three of the “Schindler's List” and “Lord of the Rings” films, as well as the same number of nominations as “It's Became the Wind.”

Hearing his summary, Dave Landau “Is that a parody?” he asks.
Considering that the film contains lyrics and a song titled “English: Vaginaplasty,”From men to women, or from women to men? …From the penis to the vagina,” Dave's question is more than I understand.
But, alas, the film is “100% real,” Garrett says.
“It's really amazing that someone pitched it, and people's rooms say, 'OK, do you need to make millions of dollars of this?” Dave laughs.
