Why Caitlin Clark doesn’t want to be in NBA 3-point contest

Kate Lin Clark will not play directly against NBA Sharp Shooters during the future all -star weekend.

WNBA's superstar will not compete with three points on February 15, as Liberty's Sabrini Nesque played against Warriors' Step Curry last year.

That's because Clark wants to appear first in a 3 -point contest with a 23 -year -old person in charge of this year's WNBA All -Star weekend. I told ESPN

The 2025 WNBA All -Star Game will be held on July 19 in Indianapolis, the home of Clark's Indian Fever.

Ionsecu plans to join the NBA All -Star Festival again, but it is unknown whether she will compete in three points.

After doing so in Iowa at a university, Clark helped to erupt the WNBA gate and viewers in her rookie year.

WNBA Rookie of the Year recorded 19.2 points on average, 8.4 assists, and 5.3 rebounds in 40 regular season games in the debut campaign.

Both of her 769 points and 337 assists are WNBA rookie records.

Neither Clark and Ionesque participate in the WNBA 3 -point contest last year on the League All -Star Weekend held in Phoenix.

Ionescu, who lost to Curry 29-26 in last year's duel, led Liberty to the first WNBA championship in 2024.
