The coin toss victory gave Joe Biden’s team a huge advantage: the president could choose which podium Biden would take in the upcoming debates, or whether Biden would make any final remarks against Donald Trump.
The better choice is obvious, but the Biden campaign chose the podium.
“This is not just about his old age, but the people who brought about the end of the war in Afghanistan.” Glenn Beck I joke about it, but I don’t know why they made this decision.
Stu Bruguiere There is a theory.
“Any drug you mix will make you feel good for the first 45 minutes, but by the end it’s a disaster,” he told Glenn, and Glenn noted that this was a “possibility.”
But Glenn still can’t understand why someone with as bad a track record as Biden would allow Trump to have the final say.
“All Donald Trump needs to say in his closing statement is, ‘Look, I understand inflation. I understand what you’re going through at the gas station. I understand how you feel about security. I understand how you feel about the border. I understand how you feel about all of these things. And I think you just heard, is he a strong leader who’s going to solve these problems?'” Glenn explains.
“I never let anyone have the last say in a debate,” he added.
“It’s a strange turn of events,” Stu agreed, adding, “I just can’t understand it.”
