The MAGA crowd touts itself as a family-oriented group, yet their values often seem selective, especially when you look at the controversies involving Donald Trump’s behavior toward women, including his own daughter, Ivanka.
In one notable instance, a staffer from Trump’s administration recounted unsettling comments about Ivanka that highlighted a disconcerting attitude toward family and decency.
Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson didn’t shy away from bizarre definitions of family values, either, entertaining the crowd with some strange rhetoric about discipline in a way that many found quite uncomfortable.
It’s curious how conservative commentators are quick to criticize certain families when it suits them politically while shielding those they consider allies. They scrutinize families like Kamala Harris’s stepdaughter but seem to turn a blind eye when it comes to the Trump family.
In any case, here’s wishing Kai Trump a happy birthday. At 18, she’s still so young, yet it feels like she’s already navigating a world full of scrutiny that many never really have to face.
