Why Oklahoma RETURNED the Bible to schools

Americans love good underdogs, but many of them have never studied the Bible. I mean, they don't know exactly why they love the good underdogs.

“It comes from David and Goliath.” glenn beck The author of “The Glenn Beck Program'' explains. “It's part of our culture. You don't have to believe that there actually was a giant and that David defeated him with one stone. I happen to believe that story, but you don't have to. .”

“But you can't really understand the West unless you know those stories. The Bible is littered with such stories,” he added.

Now, Oklahoma is the first state to bring Bibles back into classrooms, thanks to Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters, who has committed funds to putting Bibles in every school.

“Leftists, I give them credit. They've given our children, and frankly, the broader society, over the last 40 or 50 years, that the Founding Fathers somehow put the Bible in our school buildings. “They've done a great job of making us believe that there shouldn't be,” Walters tells Glenn.

“We are going to distort American history and teach our children that this country is an evil, racist place and that faith plays no role,” he continued. “So we're bringing the Bible back here to Oklahoma. We're very excited.”

Walters expects a backlash from the left, but he's not worried.

“Dear leftists, you don’t have to agree with the Bible, you can be offended, and that’s fine, that’s fine, but you don’t have to think about our history and the influence the Bible and Christianity are having on your children. I can’t lie to them,” he tells Glenn.

“If we are to survive as a civilization, we need to understand our history,” he added.
