Celebrity Appearances at High-Profile Events
Salma Hayek was enjoying herself at the Glastonbury Music Festival in England while her husband, François-Henri Pinault, attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding in Venice, Italy.
At 63, Pinault, who serves as CEO of the luxury company Kering, was spotted taking photos on a water taxi while mingling with notable guests including Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey, Orlando Bloom, Tom Brady, and Leonardo DiCaprio.
However, Hayek, 58, was not with him.
Instead, the “Frida” actress was seen with A-list friends like designer Stella McCartney, model Cara Delevingne, comedian Chelsea Handler, and actress Anya Taylor-Joy at Glastonbury festival in Somerset.
Social media posts showed them mingling backstage with musicians such as Alanis Morissette, Minke, and Malcolm McRae.
Handler also shared a sweet snapshot featuring Hayek and her teenage daughter, Valentina, playfully captioning it “Mom and Dababy.” Handler expressed her amazement about Morissette, stating, “Alanis blew my mind.”
Performers at Glastonbury included big names like Neil Young, The 1975, Charli XCX, Olivia Rodrigo, Rod Stewart, and others.
Interestingly, Hayek wasn’t the only one missing from the wedding festivities; Eva Longoria also skipped out on her friend Sanchez’s wedding due to filming commitments for her upcoming CNN series and because her husband had recently undergone shoulder surgery.
The wedding weekend reportedly cost around $50 million, showcasing how extravagant the event was. Hayek and Pinault, who started dating in 2006 and got married on Valentine’s Day in 2009 in Paris, have a daughter named Valentina, and Pinault also has two children from a prior relationship.
In an interesting tidbit, during a podcast in 2021, Hayek cheekily remarked about the billionaire that people might think “Yeah, think of a bitch.”
Despite their busy schedules, it seems that both have maintained a strong family connection.
As for the star’s representation, no further comments have been provided at this time.
