Why the Kelce brothers are interested in Giants' Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo

Exciting Times for the Giants at MetLife Stadium

The atmosphere surrounding the Giants’ MetLife Stadium is notably vibrant, a refreshing change from previous years, and some prominent NFL figures are definitely taking notice.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother Jason shared their thoughts about Giants rookie quarterback Jackson Dart and rookie running back Cam Scatterbo. They were quite complimentary on the latest episode of their podcast, “New Heights.”

Jason expressed mixed feelings initially, saying, “When this first thing started happening, I wasn’t quite sure what to think. But I’ve got to give them credit, they’re impressive.”

Travis chimed in, noting, “These guys just love the game, and they genuinely support one another.”

Dart and Scatterbo have electrified the NFL with their dynamic chemistry and passionate playing style, breathing new life into a franchise that has only reached the playoffs twice in the last 14 years.

“You can really see how the entire team has responded to this energy,” Jason mentioned, referring to the vibe the new players have created.

The Giants have turned things around, boasting a 2-1 record since Dart took over for Russell Wilson as the starting quarterback. Their potential was on full display during a stunning 34-17 victory against the reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles on October 9th.

The duo combined for five touchdowns, four of which were on the ground. Skatebo’s comical appearance alongside the Thursday Night Football studio crew after the game went viral, featuring a memorable moment of Skatebo and Ryan Fitzpatrick celebrating shirtless.

Travis remarked, “You want to catch a Giants game because they bring such energy to the field.”

Kelce particularly admired Scatterbo, who aggressively charges at anyone in his path toward the end zone and often celebrates touchdowns with his signature backflip.

Jason highlighted that Scatterbo’s playing style embodies a rare mentality in the NFL today, even offering a humor-filled dismissal to skeptics worried about his longevity in the league.

“Pick up the science, turn it sideways, bend over, and shove it up Candy’s ass,” he said, keeping it light yet earnest.

The Giants, now at 2-4, are definitely a team to watch. They’ll be back on the field Sunday, facing off against the Broncos.
