Why TikTok's astrological support for Lindsay Clancy goes against God's plan

The case of Lindsay Clancy has certainly sparked a lot of talk online, but one particularly strange theory making the rounds on TikTok is capturing attention. Instead of focusing on court evidence, some users are turning to astrology and birth charts to suggest that Clancy’s husband, Patrick, might actually be to blame for the tragic deaths of their children.

“Women on TikTok are using astrology to argue that Patrick actually committed the killings. They’re looking at what they believe is a connection with the divine and the universe to build their argument,” said BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey.

She highlighted that these individuals are creating birth charts based on Lindsay and Patrick’s birth dates, suggesting that perhaps they’ve got a bit too much free time on their hands.

“An idle mind is the devil’s workshop. That’s a perfect description of this situation,” she added before sharing clips of these TikTok users presenting their theories.

One such user pointed out, “Patrick Clancy did it, and I will never be convinced otherwise. His sun sign is at 24 degrees of Gemini, which apparently indicates violence and danger.”

Another TikTok user claimed, “For all the Patrick Clancy critics, I can confirm he was a jerk for cheating on Lindsay, and this is what his chart shows.”

Another user interpreted Lindsay’s birth chart to suggest that she had a strong instinct to protect her children and vulnerable groups.

Stuckey remarked, “Astrology isn’t a scientific approach. It’s rooted in ancient pagan beliefs and, well, is, in my opinion, something Christians should avoid.”

She went on to express concerns about how social media, astrology, and various conspiracy theories are melding into a potentially dangerous mindset among women today.

Stuckey also referenced scriptural warnings against engaging in divination and similar practices, stating, “That’s not where we should look for guidance, as it can make us open to harmful influences.”
