In the viral video, a man can be seen closing his umbrella outside the film's London premiere, with Slater, 32, walking quickly behind him.
The actor was seen walking inside as enthusiastic fans shouted his name.

Slater turned around, put his hand on his chest, and thanked his fans. He then slipped, but caught the big fall with one hand. Three men were seen trying to help Mr Slater after he fell. He then gave a thumbs up to the fans and assured them he was fine.

The “SpongeBob SquarePants” Broadway actor attended the London premiere of “Wicked” wearing an all-black suit and jacket ensemble with matching shoes.
In the new film version of the hit musical, Slater plays Bokku Woodsman, a munchkin who has a crush on his real-life girlfriend Glinda the Good Witch, played by Ariana Grande.

“I flew to Boca for a day to watch the game with my Nonna,” Grande wrote on her Instagram Story. “It’s Cinemark 20 in Boca, the movie theater I grew up going to every weekend.”
In the photo, “Positions” singer Grande was seen holding her grandmother's arm as she sat next to her grandmother and younger brother. She tagged Slater with a smiley face next to his Instagram account.

In 2023, shortly after Grande filed for divorce from then-husband Dalton Gomez, rumors began to swirl that she and Slater had developed a romantic relationship while filming Wicked.
After the two were spotted together, fans began speculating that Grande and Slater dated while they were still with their respective partners. Slater was previously married to Lily Jay, but they filed for divorce in July 2023.
Last November, Grande attended the Broadway premiere of Slater's Spamalot at the St. James Theater in New York City.

“They love supporting each other at work,” a source said people magazine Last December. “Ariana loves going to the theater whenever she can after work.”
