First on FOX: The family of Massachusetts State Police officers, whose embarrassing testimony may have fought trials against the alleged police killer in Boston, calls for the defendant's elaborate claims to cover up police “relentless propaganda and misinformation” campaigns.
“The Karen Reed defense team is misleading the false narrative, diverting the public and potential ju apprentices from clear evidence,” said Elizabeth Proctor, whose husband, Michael, was the lead investigator in the case.
Karen Reed is accused of killing her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O'Keefe, for hitting a Lexus SUV in a snowstorm after a drunken debate, and ends up leaving the scene to die.
Prosecutors initially considered it a “slam dunk” case before Proctor's text message appeared.

Proctor, a Massachusetts trooper, sent a series of steamy texts about reads read in court, urging the ju-degree to shook his head and scandalize his reading defense.
In the text he called “Wakjob,” “Baby…a-a-with-with a” and “c —“. He also wrote that she wanted to kill herself and joked about searching for nude selfies while searching for her phone. He was suspended after the trial without pay, which ended with the examiner.

Reid's defense was seized in a scandal and portrayed a lawsuit against her as an elaborate effort to frame her.
O'Keefe died from blunt head and hypothermia in a January blizzard in Canton, Massachusetts, about 15 miles in Boston.

“After all, my beloved police officer and the honorable man were killed,” Elizabeth Proctor told Fox News Digital. “The prosecutor believes it is an open and closed case, and the defense knows this. So their tactic is to put my husband, the investigator, on trial to send his personal phone text to friends and family.”
She argued that Read's defensive efforts, including multiple record interviews with the media where she raised the conspiracy claims, were efforts to contaminate the pool of ju umpires.

Reading claimed in a recent interview that she was surrounded by real killers who she considers to be another member of the book executive.
“After thorough investigations and major ju trials at both the state and federal level, only one person has been charged with a crime,” defendant Karen reads,” Elizabeth Proctor said.

Trooper Proctor has a “unharmed” record for 12 years and called his text “professional and regretful,” but his sister Courtney Proctor claims he has not undermined the credibility of the investigation. The reading is scheduled to go to trial again on April 1st.

“Michael – and many others at his job may need to see something scary every day and sometimes be personally vented,” his sister said. “He saw a fellow officer's horrible, tragic death. Who among us hasn't said anything unfortunate in a moment of stress, shock, or sadness? And how do you feel if the contents of your personal phone call are published suspiciously without complete context?”
Once the case returns to trial, the Proctor Family hopes that the ju apprentice will focus on the evidence rather than the vocal online supporters of conspiracy theories and reading material.

“Unfortunately, we know that speaking out will free more harassment to our families,” Elizabeth Proctor said. “But we can no longer stand up and quietly see Michael's character being attacked and lightly pared.”
