A California woman, a California woman accused of murdering her spouse on suspicion of a domestic incident last month, was caught over the weekend and was treated before entering prison.
The San Diego Sheriff's Office announced Monday that 53-year-old Yolanda Malodi was handed over to a former US S after being captured in Mexico on Saturday and was granted for treatment before being booked to prison.
The agency told Fox News Digital that Yolanda was not injured during her arrest, but she was unable to share details of her personal medical information and reasons for treatment.
Authorities said Lascolinas detention and re-entry facility is currently completing Yolanda's booking process and her arrest is scheduled for Wednesday.

Yolanda Malody had been running for more than a month after authorities discovered Captain Malody was stabbed and killed inside the house on February 17th.
She was arrested on Saturday at a hotel in Mexicali near the southern border, according to the Baja California Civic Security Office.

Investigators are still working to gather more information to determine the circumstances and motivations behind Colonel Malodi's death.
Yolanda is said to have been seen in surveillance video arguing with Rebecca and physically attacking her on the day of her fatal stab wounds.

The detective said he could hear screaming, “Yolanda, I don't want to die.” In the report, Yolanda responded to Rebecca, saying, “You should have been thinking about it.”
Surveillance video filmed Yolanda leaving the couple's home before Rebecca's mother arrived. Rebecca was found with several injuries to her neck, chest and back, and authorities said she was consistent with the stab wounds.
Before her release in 2013, Yolanda previously served in prison for more than 13 years on the voluntary manslaughter of her then-husband, James Joseph Olejuzac Jr., according to the California Department of Corrections and Corrections.

Yolanda's former stepmother, Nancy Haworth, described her as “terrifying,” pointing out that her son's murder and Rebecca Malody are creepy.
“Scary, very scary, she scares me,” Hayworth said. “She always has it.”
Hayworth added that he only met Yolanda Malodi once, but she said, “Sometimes a little immature and, even if she had all the attention she would just not be happy.”
