One person was killed and four injured when the car jumped over the curb and hit a bus stop in Miami over the weekend.
The drama unfolded in Miami's Liberty City area around 9am on Saturday. Cars were scattered across the sidewalk and sat at a bus stop, attacking several people, one person being kicked out of the car and another was locked up as the driver escaped the scene. WTVJ-TV News reported.
“The car has been turned over in front,” an eyewitness to the fatal disaster told the outlet. “A lot of people call it a 911. The black car has turned over. I'm very scared. It's not safe.”
The car went past the White Pickup truck and zoomed, stopped at the intersection of Northwest 17th Avenue and 54th Avenue, stopped towards the sidewalk, crushed the canopy of the bus stop, mow a few people inside and bumped into a utility pole.
Police said one person suffered minor injuries and had dropped the doctor's appointment, but five others were rushed to the Rider Trauma Unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital, one of them died.
WTVJ said the victim's identity has not been released as police are looking for a driver.
