A 22-year-old McDonald’s employee in Florida was arrested after pulling out a gun and firing at a customer following a physical altercation in the drive-thru that was caught on camera.
Shocking surveillance footage shows a violent brawl between Chassidi Gardner and a customer in the drive-thru of a McDonald’s in Lakeland, Florida on Friday, which quickly escalated from throwing cups to a gunfight.
Lakeland police said officers were dispatched to the restaurant chain around 1 a.m. after the shooting, which began as an argument after Gardner and a customer complained about an incorrect order.
Police said Gardner got into an argument with a group of customers in the drive-thru and then threw drinks at them as they tried to leave in their cars.
Video of the incident shows two customers getting out of their car, rolling down the drive-thru window and throwing drinks at Gardner, who was pointing a gun at the man.

Police said the customers drove around the store in a vehicle and Gardner followed them with a gun and attempted to engage in further arguments.
Gardner, still outside, fired a gun at a vehicle as patrons attempted to leave the restaurant, hitting it at least once.
Gardner was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
