Will Jesus come back this month? Pastor shares a widely shared rapture vision.

A pastor in South Africa, known for his unusual predictions, recently stated that Jesus was reinstated on September 23rd and that the trumpet feast marked the day of both Rapture and Judgment.

In a YouTube video, Pastor Joshua Murakera claims to have seen Jesus in a divine vision, asserting that He returned to Earth during this year’s Rosh Hashana. “Ready is above us, ready or not,” he told Cettwinztv.

“I could see Jesus on His throne, hearing Him clearly declare, ‘I’ll come soon,'” he further explained, adding that Jesus said He would return on September 23rd and 24th, 2025.

Many viewers of the video seemed skeptical, suggesting Murakera might not be in a clear state of mind. One commenter even noted, “My 10-year-old daughter has been dreaming of the rapture lately.”

Another echoed the sentiment, saying that, “No one knows the exact date or time.” I mean, it’s probably best to prepare yourself rather than argue. Someone mentioned having a vision recently too.

The Rapture, a core belief in Christian eschatology, suggests that believers will be taken away before a period known as tribulation, leading to Jesus’ return to establish a paradise.

Despite the excitement surrounding these claims, many staunch believers caution that the date or time of Jesus’ return is unknown, making it seem unlikely He would RSVP.

But are there already signs indicating something significant is approaching?

On September 7th and 8th, observers noted a “Blood Moon,” which some interpreted as ominous. A notable biblical passage mentions, “The sun will turn into darkness, and the moon will turn into blood before the great and wonderful day of the Lord will come.”

Whether it’s merely atmospheric phenomena or something more prophetic, the sky has certainly caught people’s attention this week.

In a previously shared story, NASA has even suggested that the biblical account of the cross, which is pretty dramatic, might align with a lunar eclipse that turned the moon red over Jerusalem on April 3, 33 AD.

And concerning that eerie sky? As Matthew 27:45 notes, “Darkness appeared on all lands from noon until 3pm.” The theory surrounding the eclipse was popularized this spring on TikTok.

Ultimately, many followers of Christ find themselves gazing up at the sky, wondering if September 23 will indeed usher in the Rapture.
