Monday’s result marked the 20th time a Powerball jackpot has been won in Pennsylvania since the game began in 1992.
Powerball officials said ticket holders will now have the choice between an annuitized prize of $213.8 million or a lump sum of $106.4 million.
Monday’s drawing marked the first Powerball jackpot winning since July 3, when a $139.3 million prize was won in Ohio.
As a result of the drawing, 346,939 winning tickets were drawn across the United States, including eight winning prizes of $50,000 and two winning prizes of $150,000.
The jackpot will be reset to $20 million. The next drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, August 14.
A New Jersey bus driver and avid lottery fan was lucky enough to hit the jackpot in June, worth a total of $222.6 million.
Harish Patel, the store clerk who sold the winning ticket, said the winner was a “good guy” who came to the store every day and spent nearly $60 on lottery tickets.
