Wisconsin Barber Tipped $1,000 by Preacher

A Wisconsin barber made local news after thanking a random customer for a $1,000 tip before leaving to pray with patients at a children’s hospital. .

The big gift came unexpectedly: a $30 haircut from Chris Davis of Mi Casa Beauty Salon in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Davis said his schedule was “completely full” last Saturday, but once he learned he was a preacher, he let in walk-ins.

“I asked them what he was doing. He was wearing a suit.” barber Said WJCL. “I thought he was having a wedding or something.”

However, the man said he was actually heading to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, “to pray with the children.”

The haircut took only 10 minutes, but the customer left right away. Davis didn’t see the $1,000 tip until it was too late to thank him.

“My heart immediately dropped. I wish I could have gone out and thank him, but he was already gone,” he told the outlet.

“Such information is unprecedented. It is truly a blessing,” he added.

Davis has worked at the salon for nine years and says, “I just love making people feel good.”
