Wisconsin mother surprised when her son receives anti-Trump bracelet at market

A mother from Wisconsin expressed her shock after her young son received a bracelet at a farmers market that included a message calling for the death of former President Donald Trump.

Katie Neubauer shared that her 8-year-old was given the bracelet by volunteers at the Winnebago County Democratic Party booth during their recent visit to the Oshkosh Farmers Market. The bracelet had the phrase, “Is he dead already?” on it.

“I handed it back to him and said, ‘No hate speech here,'” Neubauer commented during an interview.

Feeling overwhelmed, she left the booth but later returned and noticed other bracelets with similar anti-Trump sentiments, one of which was marked “8647.” This phrase combines “86,” slang for “to eliminate,” with “47,” referring to Trump as the 47th president.

Neubauer took her concerns to market management and discovered that several others had raised similar complaints.

“We actually had about 10 complaints total that day,” she noted.

The market manager confirmed they were not the only ones to voice concerns. As a result, it was decided that the Democratic Party booth would not participate in the market for the rest of the season.

This incident has occurred amidst growing warnings about escalating political violence. Recently, Trump urged lawmakers to moderate their rhetoric and remarked on the increasing violence directed at conservatives.

“We’ve seen armies of far-left extremists resort to desperate acts of violence and terrorism because they know their ideas and arguments won’t convince anyone,” he stated at a ceremony where he awarded a posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom to political activist Charlie Kirk.

Charlie Kirk was tragically killed on the campus of Utah Valley University in September.

Additionally, Trump has survived two assassination attempts, and Democratic Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro was a target of an attempted arson attack.
