A Wisconsin woman convicted of poisoning her friend with eye drops and stealing $290,000 issued a chilling warning Friday to the victim’s loved ones saying “the devil awaits.” As a result, he was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Jesse Kurczewski remained relatively emotionless in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He only shed tears during nearly two hours of testimony in court when Judge Jennifer Dorow read his sentence.
Kulczewski, 40, was found guilty in November of first-degree intentional homicide for the October 2018 slaying of his friend Lynn Hernan.
She will be eligible for supervised release after 30 years.
“I think that’s one of the key factors here, the criteria when you think about not just the seriousness of the crime, but the need to protect the public,” Dorow said. According to WISN.
“Then, barring the theft charges, your age would be close to 70, older than Lynn’s current age. You’re physically older, but 30 years is a pretty big time. I think so,” Drow said. “But my goal is really 80 points for you. That’s why on Count 2 and Count 3, we’re going to carry out the maximum sentence, consecutively up to Count 1 and consecutively up to Count 2.
The convicted murderer received the maximum sentence for the two theft charges he was convicted of, receiving five years in prison and five years of extended supervision on both charges.
“Given your previous convictions for forgery, felony embezzlement, and your ‘lack of a good track record’ while on long-term supervision, to do otherwise would underestimate the seriousness of those crimes.” I think I will.”
Dorow said the goal is to keep Kurczewski in prison until he is old enough to no longer be a threat to anyone.

Dorow added that when Kruczewski was arrested, he created false documents to cover his tracks and justify his motives before blaming others.
In a victim impact statement, one of Mr. Hernan’s friends called Mr. Kulczewski a monster and said the sentence was too lenient.
“Sir, Jesse brutally murdered my friend Lynn Hernan. I want the court to sentence Jesse to life in prison without the possibility of parole. If Wisconsin had the death penalty, I would I would seek the death penalty for you,” James Kelliher told the court. According to Courtroom TV.
Kelliher also alleged that Kulczewski was responsible for the deaths of several of Hernan’s cats and dogs.
The emotional friend also claimed that Hernan had inherited money from his parents and that Jesse had taken advantage of Hernan’s help.
“Jesse had other plans and was researching ways to kill people without getting caught on the internet. I believe Jesse started poisoning Lynn in 2016 and stealing her money and property. Jesse Poisoned Lin like a rodent.
Kruczewski, 39, admitted in 2018 that he dumped six bottles of Bijin into a water bottle and gave them to Hernan.
The hairdresser was found dead in her Pewaukee condominium on October 3, 2018, with drugs crushed in her chest.
Kruczewski called 911 and said the family friend was not breathing and believed he may have committed suicide.
“Lynn wasn’t a junkie or a coward, that’s what Jesse was. She continued to poison him until he died.
“Jesse is pure evil and the devil lives inside her,” Kelliher said. “She tried to steal Rin’s identity, but that could never happen due to the simple fact that she was too ugly.”
The coroner ruled Hernan’s death a homicide because tetrahydrozoline, the main ingredient in Visine, was detected in Hernan’s body.
“She is the worst of humanity, a worthless human being, a known liar, a thief, and now a convicted murderer,” Kelliher added.
“Jesse, I hope that when you get to your new home, you will be used like you were treated with Lynn and treated like used meat.
“Life in prison without parole is the least of your worries. A women’s prison will feel like a Holiday Inn compared to where you’re heading. The devil awaits you.” I hope you rot in hell.”
